Adi Sorek, born in 1970, mother of two, lives in Tel Aviv. 
Writer, founding editor of the "Vashti" series published by Resling, teaches writing and studies Jewish literature.
Her books have received critical acclaim and many awards, including the 2013 Leib Goldberg Prize for Literary Work and the 2018 Ministry of Culture Prize for Hebrew Writers named after Levi Eshkol. Recently, Yedioth Books published her fifth book "Written in Objects - Dream Stories and Confessions". Her book "Natan" (Keter, 2018), was nominated for the Sapir Prize 2019. 
Researches the theme of the city of refuge in the Babylonian Talmud and modern Jewish writing, alongside her research on women's literature and French avant-garde literature. 
Also works as an interdisciplinary artist who combines her areas of practice in plastic art and writing installations.
