Rachel Verliebter grew up in Strasbourg, France.

She is a psychotherapist and curator of Jewish symbolic art.

She is currently completing her PhD in Jewish thought at Bar-Ilan University. Her writings explore the symbolism and phenomenology of water in Jewish mysticism. Moreover, as a Matanel Fellow, her research focuses on the kabbalistic influences on L'École de pensée juive de Paris - the Parisian school of Jewish thought.

Her current exhibition “The Doe of Dawn” at the Bible Lands Museum Jerusalem engages with the mystery of the doe, a biblical myth about the Divine Feminine that gave rise to manifold meanings in the Kabbalah throughout the generations interweaving love, birth, nature, deliverance, and longing for God.
